Book-Best Boss Ever

Would They Call You Their Best Boss Ever

Fulcrum Associates - Leadership Training and Development, Team BuildingI am really pleased to announce the upcoming release of my new book Would They Call You Their Best Boss Ever?: Practical Tips and Insights for the Successful Manager, available June 1st on and other online bookstores worldwide.

For the new book, I’ve assembled and edited the best of my first 18 months of posts from my leadership blog.

The book contains 132 pieces of thought provoking ideas, nuggets from research, and practical tips and approaches for becoming an effective manager.

The title is inspired by the energetic discussion that takes place in my management workshops when I pose the following questions:

  • Who was the best boss you’ve ever worked for?
  • What did this individual do to cause you to select him or her?
  • How different were you working for your best boss, vs. one of your less competent managers?

The bottom line: people working for a great manager work harder, exceed expectations, take more accountability, and are way more satisfied in their job.

We are very excited to bring this new resource to you and will have more information to share very soon.

Ian CookBest wishes,

Ian Cook
